Cathy came to ETA after many years as the owner of Travel Horizons. Originally, she was a stay-at-home Mom until she decided she was living someone else’s life. Although having traveled to no more exotic destinations than Florida and Iowa, she decided to become a travel agent and, for the last 26 years, she has owned her own agency while expanding her list of exotic destinations. Cathy has one husband, three children and five grandchildren. It’s hard to pick an absolute favorite place in the world but France, Italy and certain resorts in the Caribbean are high on her list for repeat visits. Egypt was a highlight and, for a family vacation, she thinks there’s nothing better than an African safari, except for her annual family reunion at her husband’s family’s lake house in Eagle River, Wisconsin. She and her husband have also taken an interest in cruises lately. Cathy is resourceful and likes planning trips that utilize that skill. Traveling with her husband, her children and grandchildren, reading novels, going to artsy movies, terrace gardening, eating and cooking are among her favorite pastimes.
