Marcy's family hails from the tiny town of Riga, Michigan, population 1500. As part of a military family, she lived in many different places throughout her childhood and this sense of travel and movement has been in her blood ever since. It was only a matter of course that she settled on a career in the travel industry and she credits her commitment to total customer service as her greatest strength as a travel counselor. She came to Washington in 1987 because she loved the blended cultures and diverse opportunities. Her favorite travel destination is Hawaii and she has visited the islands three times; however, her dream vacation would be a six week trip around the world to visit different regions and sample their food and culture. In her free time, Marcy enjoys quality time with her pets, Raney and Leo, a dog and cat.
