Originally from Pennsylvania, Jim has been a resident of the Washington DC area since the age of 5 and considers himself a local. Jim started his travel career in 1994 and prior to joining the ranks of the travel industry, Jim worked as a concierge and a front desk manager at several Washington DC hotels. He attributes his love of arranging client’s vacation travel to his own sense of wanderlust. Good listening skills, a desire to satisfy the client’s expectations, attention to detail and follow up after travel are strengths Jim brings when arranging a vacation. One of his most memorable trips was to Peru, where he viewed a lunar eclipse while atop Machu Picchu. Well traveled to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe and North America, Jim would love to visit South Africa and the Tahitian Islands. In his spare time, Jim enjoys reading, gardening, BBQ’s on the patio and traveling to new places with his partner, Ron.
