Have lived in WI, MN, Maryland, DC, Germany and Austria. Now living in rural VA
with my partner of 10 years Jim; and our Greyhound Toby and Miniature Schnauzer Wesley.
I have an older sister.

I have travelled extensively in Europe, as my parents were born there. I have also been to
Thailand, Japan, Australia, Mexico and the Caribbean. I look forward to travelling to
Africa and South America in the future. I can speak enough French and German
to “get by” while travelling, but I’m not really fluent. My favorite vacation spots
are Hawaii, Greece, and the U.K.

In my spare time I enjoy anything having to do with BBQ grilling,
do-it-myself-home-improvement-projects, swimming, nature walks/birding,
and gardening/landscape design.

In the future, my dream is to retire early in California, and travel the
world by ship several months out of the year.
